MWGB 2026
Cache Build Contest
This form is for entering the MWGB 2026 Cache Build Contest! This year, cachers can submit a creative, event themed geocache build for a chance to be selected to hide their cache at the Fulton County Fairgrounds as a permanent geocache for this year's MWGB event. A maximum of TWO (2) winners will be selected.
Contest rules:
- Entries must include a themed cache listing name, as well as a photo of the cache to be hidden if chosen.
- Caches must be placed and published between July 13-22, 2026.
- Cache hiders will own the geocache listing (and receive all awarded favorite points).
- Cache owners will be responsible for cache maintenance.
- Cache owners must provide a complete and thorough maintenance plan in a reviewer note to the local reviewer detailing how the cache will be maintained for it's duration (including after the MWGB event this year).
- Caches must be considered "permanent". This means they'll be exposed to the elements for an extended period of time. Consider this when building your cache.
- Caches must be removed from the fairgrounds and disabled between September 1-15, 2026 for the Fulton County Fair event.
- Caches must be placed at one of two specified locations provided to winner(s). All available cache locations have been mapped out and two have been reserved for contest winners.
- Contest entries must be submitted by June 20, 2026. Winners will be notified shortly after.
- These rules are not all-inclusive. Event organizers reserve the right to modify or add rules at any time to remain compliant with both geocaching.com guidelines and Fulton County Fairgrounds guidelines.
- Winners chosen will be contacted via email and provided additional information including all relevant guidelines to follow, cache hide locations/coordinates, and other helpful information.
