Camping Reservations Are Not Currently Available Online

Camping reservations for the current/upcoming event year (2010) are available from 03/01/2010 through 07/22/2010. NOTE: Cutoff date subject to change. If you wish to camp, you can book camping during these dates.

If it's past the window and you plan to attend, don't worry - we have PLENTY of camping at the venue. Show up and book into an open site. "At the door" campsites are $15 more for the weekend. Even though you can't reserve a site at this time, you can use the map below to scope out a site you love. Then book it when reservations are online or have a first, second and third choice for open sites when you arrive for "at the door" camping.

How To Book Camping

First decide where you want to camp. All sites have shared power (depending on the hookup configuration, you may need a converter from utility to regular plug), some sites have shared water, we have a limited number of RV sites with full sewer and water hookups, and some RV sites do not have dedicated sewer - check the site details to ensure your site does. Consult the venue map to choose an area, or find where your friends are and book near them. To see campsite details, hover your mouse over a site (don't click it yet). Details will pop up. Click on the site to reserve it. You will note in the top right the site now says you owe money. Pay for your site to confirm your reservation. Price is for the full event period, no discounts or refunds for non-use or partial use of campsite. Sites which are reserved but unpaid may be cancelled after 48 hours to make them available to other campers.

Finding Your Site Upon Arrival

When you arrive, look for yellow stakes with campsite IDs on them. Find the stake with your site's number. Your site is to the right of the stake. Please ensure you follow this rule, if you set up in the wrong space you may be asked to move.

A Note About Shower Facilities

Showers are provided on venue, however the number of showers is limited and usage is first-come, first-serve. If you have a portable shower option, we suggest bringing it! Look at the venue map, showers are located at the places marked "MWS" (Men's bathroom, Women's bathroom, Showers) on the map. There is one shower each (one men's, one women's) at the building just north of the Midway, three each at the middle building (just east of camping), and three each at the south building (Spangler Arena).

Noise

Anyone not at Area 51 respect our 10pm - 7am quiet hours. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs if they could be bothered by the sound of the nearby highway or depending on proximity to Area 51 ;)

Venue Map Explore the venue map, click the image for a high-zoom version. Noise Considerations The further south you stay, the closer your site will be to the turnpike and Area 51. Those wishing to insulate themselves from noise as much as possible may be well advised to book into the northern end of the grounds. Camper Parking You can park in your campsite, but do not park on the road. You will be ticketed by the County Sheriff. If there is not room for you to park in your campsite, you can park in any available parking area. Amenities All sites have power as noted in their detail display. Sites are approximately 24' wide by 30' deep. There is a 6 person per site camping limit. Larger parties may book adjacent campsites. Any site will accommodate an RV or trailer. Hookups are not available except in RV Sites (see below) however there are dump facilities on site which you may use at no additional cost. RV Sites There are some RV sites available on a first come, first served basis. In 2010 we are allowing direct booking of RV sites from the web site. No tent camping is permitted in an RV site, out of courtesy for others, please only book RV sites if... you know... you'll be using an RV. RV sites are approximately 24' wide by 40' deep, will accomodate large RVs. All have 30 amp power service and water hookups. 1-23 have dedicated sewer hookups. All RV campers can use the on-site dumping station. RV sites are $50 for the weekend. 50 Amp Service A limited number of 50 Amp power sites are available for rental on a first come, first served basis. 50 Amp sites are $40 for the weekend. In 2010 we are allowing direct booking of these sites from the web site.
