We have re-launched with a new web site and registration is now open. The site is (as expected) not without its kinks, but so far - so good. Here are the details you need to know to get back online and start registration or get back in the forums.
If you registered for MWGB last year, your information is already loaded into the site with a random password.
To reset your password, go to this URL and enter your email address (the address you are getting this at is the email we have on file for you): Click Here
If you're not sure what Geonick your email is currently associated with, go to this URL and enter your email address to have your login name sent to you: Click Here For more details, click the read more link! If your data was pre-loaded you should have gotten this notice via email also. |
You have found the homepage for the Midwest Geobash. The MWGB is one of the world's largest annual Geocaching events. MWGB 2008 is expected to draw over 1800 attendees from all over the United States and world for a weekend of Geocaching-centric fun, fellowship, and learning. Wondering what Geocaching is? Come on out and see for yourself! You can also study up a little before the event at
Geocaching.com or post your questions in our website forums.
In 2007, we established the Midwest Geocaching Foundation as a nonprofit to manage the event year to year and to hold the resources required to put on the event and consider future support initiatives for Geocaching organizations in the Midwest and beyond. In late 2007, we filed for 501(c)(3) status with the IRS. We expect a positive determination in the August timeframe, under which condition any sponsorship contributions are tax deductible under prevailing tax laws.
While you're in the area, check out what else there is to enjoy in Noble County, IN. The
Noble County Convention and Visitors Bureau has been a great source of information to us while planning and they are excited to help showcase Noble County to all attendees!
