The days are winding down to the start of another awesome Midwest Geobash! Plans are progressing and soon we will be ordering all of the swag for the event. We have great swag and all proceeds support the event. When you register you will have the option to buy items for will call pickup.

We do not order much extra than what is preordered and it sells out fast at the event.
If you want to guarantee you'll get a shirt, pathtag trading pack or geocoin - please make sure to reserve and pay for swag during registration.
You'll also save money and get 12% off at-event pricing if you buy before the cutoff date.

We still have plenty of camping! Camping registration and event registration run through July 11th. Don't procrastinate too badly though, the good sites go fast.
And remember - you'll get squatters rights on your site for next year. So getting in early not only gets you your choice of campsite this year, but secures it for years to come.

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN MARCH 1ST!

Remember, MWGB is free to attend and registration is not strictly required, but takes only a few moments and really helps us plan for the crowd. Please take a minute and complete a registration on our site, even if you already logged a "will attend" on Geocaching.com. If you need or want swag or camping then you do have to register.

Camping reservations will also open on March 1st, and we will be bringing back Squatter's Rights!

To remind everyone about Squatter's Rights: We have auto-reserved the site you booked in 2011. If you do not want that site, simply delete it from your registration. If you want to keep your site from 2011, make sure you pay for it by March 7th (1 week from opening). After March 7th, 2012 (meaning starting midnight EST March 8th) all unpaid sites will lose their reservation and then you can book into any open site. Otherwise, reservations are first-come, first-served.

We're bringing back the Early Bird Special! Order and pay for your swag in the month of March and get a 20% discount over at-event pricing. If you miss the early bird special, you'll still get 12% off at-event pricing if you buy before the cutoff date.

GET READY FOR MWGB 2012!

The theme is "Halloween In July" and the mascot is Spook the Owl for MWGB 2012.

The Halloween theme gives us a lot of great options for planning activities throughout MWGB.  As usual there will be a campsite contest with the top three winning a GPS unit!  All winners and honorable mention sites win free camping in 2013.  We encourage everyone to embrace the theme and come dressed in costume on Saturday! Feel free to dress in costume any time, but if you only have one costume - wear it on Saturday!

We will once again be at the Fulton County Fairgrounds in beautiful Wauseon, OH. The event will be held July 26-29, 2012.
